A mid-day text meant we were headed to Hollywood for a late night concert on a Monday. None of us wanted to be the “boring adult” so we made it happen. Although the concert was sold out, we charged ahead believing fortune would be our friend. We were right. Free flowing traffic, free parking, less expensive tickets than presale, a stroll down the blvd to the “best burgers in LA 2010,” and seats in the balcony made for a near perfect evening. And somehow I wasn’t even tired for school the next day.

A new bike rack, a sunny day, and an “exotic” locale is all we need to feel like we struck it rich. Who knew CI was so beautiful?!
